Hi Everyone
I hope you’re well and safe, and adjusting to the ‘new normal’ in this COVID-19 era.
While we can’t provide acupuncture for now, my colleague Nathan Francis and I are are so happy to offer online consultations.
We’ll guide you with a program of Traditional Chinese Medicine self-care which is tailored to your needs.
Now more than ever your home, pantry, back-yard or balcony are places where you can enhance and protect your health and well-being.
So how on earth do acupuncturists offer Telehealth?
Acupuncture is just one of the arms of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
TCM also offers:
- nutrition and food-as-medicine
- moxa and other warming therapies
- lifestyle and physical activity
- mindfulness, meditation and breathing
- living with the seasons
- herbal remedies
For existing clients, look out for emails from Soothe Acupuncture & Tui Na. We’ll let you know as soon as our Telehealth services are up and running.
Our Telehealth service will include a consultation, and we’ll craft a set of recommendations for you that might include:
- warming techniques
- acupressure (we’ll demonstrate that)
- whole foods, herbs and spices
- physical activity such as yoga or Qi Gong, stretching, breathing
- relaxation and mindfulness practices
- herbal remedies (sent to you directly from our trusted suppliers)
Telehealth services are not a substitute for medical care and attention provided by your family doctor and other health practitioners.
In the meantime, please follow all State and Federal government guidelines and laws relating to COVID-19, and call your family doctor or emergency health services if you are unwell or struggling to cope.
I invite everyone to stay in touch on my Facebook page
