Clinical interests and experience
- Women’s health: menstrual pain and related concerns, pre-conception & planning for pregnancy, supportive acupuncture for fertility, pregnancy support and preparing for birth, symptoms of menopause transition, such as hot flushes.
- Over Forties: health and well-being for women and men who’ve lived well, and are keen to ensure they stay vital and active into their middle years and beyond.
- Pain: headaches (tension headaches and migraine prevention), neck, shoulder & lower back pain; sciatica, knee pain, other persisting or recurrent pain conditions.
- Common concerns: stress-related concerns such as insomnia, symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, allergic rhinitis (hay-fever)

Previously a Registered Nurse, in 2004 I gained a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture and have worked consistently since then.
I’m known for a gentle acupuncture style and warm and friendly consultations.
I’m committed to on-going professional development, and safely integrating tradition with current research and evidence. This includes mandatory on-going professional development, and my own research and interests.
My years as a Registered Nurse spent in Gynaecological, Medical and Cardio-thoracic Units have provided me with a strong foundation for understanding and respecting the roles that contemporary medical, surgical and complementary health each play.
Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner and Regulation Agency (AHPRA: CMR0001815246) and a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), I’m committed to excellence and ethics in practice.
I’m a longterm resident of Brisbane’s northside, and the mother of three young adults. Having had three babies in under 5 years, I know that busy, tired folk need simple yet effective care and solutions for their health and well-being.
My other interests include a variety of exercise and fitness activities, handcrafts and the arts, cooking, blogging, gardening and singing.
